Creative Genius...
Not many know this but my husband Ryan is a creative genius! I get the pleasure of sharing my life with him. He is always thinking of the craziest things to do. He has worked Full time at The Rock Church for 7 years this Month. He has never complained about what he does because he loves his work. Many people can never understand why and how he works so many hours (this video was over 30 hours on top of creative meetings, staff meetings, other vids, and so on), it is because he loves where he works, and what he does. Ryan found his passion while doing The Quarry internship at The Rock Church. He graduated from there in 2000, then left for Orlando, Florida to attend Full Sail. Where he graduated with a degree in Film. He learned to work hard there, Sometimes he would have 1am labs. He also earned the Directors Award. Which is an honor. I say all this because he never says it. I am so proud of him.
When we first were married it was hard not to want to focus on me and the time I would like to have with him. Many dont know this but there are times I go to bed at 12am and Ryan is still working on a video. Yet, Ryan never gets burnt out. He would come home around 3 am and get up the next day to do it all over again. I would of course get mad and complain. But while I was in prayer one day God revealed some things to me... He asked me one question,
Would i rather have him doing something he hated, so I could have more time with him...No I wouldn't
That is when I realized it wasn't about me. We have been married almost 5 years, and there is not a moment I would rather him do something else. I am glad that he is following his dreams. It inspires me to find my passion and do it with all my heart.
By the way...GREAT VID!
